A safe, structured space to explore

These classes are designed to engage children through activities that stimulate one or more of the senses, including touch, sight, hearing, smell, taste, body awareness, and balance.

SENSORY DEVELOPMENT PILLARS

How the Classes Support Sensory Development

Every activity is purposefully designed around four core sensory pillars, each targeting a different but interconnected aspect of a child's regulation and development.

Alerting

Activities that increase alertness and engagement, such as jumping, bouncing, and faster-paced games.

Organising

Activities that support coordination, focus, and body awareness, including balance games and group activity.

Tactile

Activities that deepen sensory input, such as play dough and pushing or pulling objects.

Calming

Activities that reduce arousal and support transitions or learning, including deep breathing, slow rocking, and quiet music.

Each activity is adjusted to support different sensory needs and comfort levels.
Children are encouraged to explore at their own pace in safe, supportive environment.

Designed for children who
benefit from sensory support

This group-based support is designed for both NDIS and non-NDIS neurodivergent participants. Through fun, engaging play, art therapy, and sensory activities, children can explore their senses in a safe and supportive environment.

The goal is to help each child build sensory awareness, confidence, and everyday functioning skills.

  • Uses play, art therapy, and sensory activities
  • Focuses on confidence, awareness, and everyday functioning
  • Welcoming to both NDIS and non-NDIS participants

Class structure

How each class works

Every class is carefully structured to help children
feel safe, supported, and ready to participate.

Small groups

Groups of 3–6 participants ensure each child receives appropriate attention and can engage at their own comfort level.

Opt-out anytime

Children can choose to step back from any activity without pressure. Participation is always voluntary and child-led.

Calm space available

A dedicated quiet area is available throughout every session for children who need a break from stimulation.

Weekly themes

Each session is built around a new theme that ties together the sensory activities, keeping things consistent yet fresh and engaging.

Parent & chaperone welcome

Parents or carers are welcome to attend sessions with their child if that supports comfort and participation.

Consistent routine

A predictable session structure helps children feel settled and ready to engage from the moment they arrive.
